baby furniture!

The stuffed woodchuck on the left was a baby shower gift from my coworker Megan! More pics to come from that one.

This Saturday we assembled Pancake's crib. It is beautiful and so classic! I thought we'd go with a traditional Jenny-Lind crib, but couldn't resist this one by Young America when Ryan's mom offered to help us during USA Baby's 50% off sale. It is made incredibly well and I love the old-school spindles :) We don't have a crib mattress yet, but I tried to lay out the sheets to see how they'd look.

This is one of the few pictures I can stand of myself at 37 weeks pregnant.

We finally found the right fabric to make Pancake's curtains -  it's from a great store in South Austin called Craft-O-Rama.

Last week we had a great mail day - Onesies I'd ordered from Mini Boden arrived and we also had a surprise package from Ryan's Aunt! She sent two parenting books I can't wait to read. I've about had it with pregnancy books and can't wait to move onto child-raisin'.  Speaking of, I think I had my first Braxton Hicks contractions today - very exciting.

If you want to see more photos, including an exasperated photo of me from the dog park today, check out my Flickr account. It's crazy to look back at earlier photos where I thought I looked pregnant - ha!

The curtain fabric is the mot prettiest fabric in the world. What style of curtains are you making? I am obsessed with window treatments these days.
